His Life in Rivers 2

After being sad because my friend, Tarryn, has left to SA for 2 weeks, and thinking that everybody is going to be gone for Christmas, I was pleasantly surprised to realise that, not only are there still many who are here but also that we have friends visiting AND I got to make new friends!
The Eltringhams, Mike and Charmaine, who lead the church in Dubai, and their son Warren who leads worship, came to visit us and Rivers, blessing the church with anointed worship and Word. Warren was also so kind to update my iTunes with LoTs of new music especially worship music such as Jesus Culture, among others, which if you know me, is a favourite of mine. Incase you don't know, they have a new album called Come Away! They are one of those bands whose songs I listen to over and over and over and over and over...you get the point. Also if you enjoy prophetic worship then listen to Jonathan David Hesler specifically the song called Intimacy! "I was made, I was made for intimacy!"
I also met the rest of Johnny's(a friend of our family) family. His daughter Elizabeth leads worship and plays piano, and his other daughter, Eleanor, plays guitar and I get to play violin with them next Friday, Christmas Eve! Can't wait!! Elizabeth and Eleanor are only visiting for just over a week as they live in Singapore and Australia respectively.
God has blessed Rivers these last 3 weeks by sending people to lead us in worship!
Me, Elizabeth and Eleanor. Hint- when you don't have someone to take a picture for you, use a mirror..works much better than those arm-stretch-heads-cutoff-shots! oh but you will then NeeD a mirror...most bathrooms have them ;)
Left-to-right: Elizabeth, Warren, Me, Daniel, Simone, Ivan and Eleanor
All had a meal together at Chillis. Church becomes family when you live in a country away from your home, and even when you live in your home country. Sharing meals together is part of family-life in Rivers.
Conny, Johnny, Mike, Charmaine, Mom, Devlin, Dad

So talking about sharing a meal together, that is exactly what we will do this Friday, Christmas Eve, after church. More to come on that- 50 people in our house..will Spikkels survive???
