Draw Near

The last few weeks or months I have been thinking lots about this thing of "drawing near to God". The more I think,  and go through life, I believe more and more that we were created to praise. That it is God's desire to have fellowship with us, to pour out His Spirit on His people, to heal the broken hearted, to bring restoration, to heal the sick to set free the captive. That is infact why Jesus died: m Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, n smitten by God, and afflicted. 5  o But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, p and with his wounds we are healed. 6  q All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way; r and the   Lord   has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
